Philosophy of Vocal Technique

The vocal technique involved in singing can contain both physical and non-physical details in order to learn to sing. In my studio, I use this combination of the physical and non-physical elements in order for each student to become proficient musicians. I want the singer to have total freedom vocally, musically, dramatically, physically, emotionally and spiritually. It is my goal to help the singer to release the voice within to the best of their abilities.

Students can expect to receive:

  • Encouragement to create a life long love of music.
  • Individual attention via exercises and vocalizes to achieve the ultimate efficiency for each individual instrument.
  • At least minimal knowledge of the muscles and tissues involved in the singing process.
  • The development of their own unique, individual sound.
  • Release of the voice within.
  • Attempt to remove obstacles which are in the singer’s way.
  • Recognition that each student receives information differently; every attempt will be made to communicate individually with everyone.
  • Positive but firm guidance.
  • An intricate and detailed path or vision designed to allow the student to achieve their goals and its implementation.
